But Does it Float
After being forwarded to this post on the excellent blog butdoesitfloat.com I couldn’t help but marvel at the incredible beauty of the buildings photographed, but in particular the spectactularly decorative water towers. My penchant for the superficial elaboration of engineering has in the past lead me into investigating the 30s vogue for all things appearing streamline, and it’s an area that despite being decades before my birth, calls to me with a strangely nostalgic feel.
