A little airbrush practice working on the DOOM project. Looks like I’m going to be making a metal slipcase for the vinyl, as the metal fingers and chromed out grill need a matching record…so there should be some welding and engraving happening sometime soon, working on the specs now.

Yes, after a brief hiatus the airbrush has been cracked out and is probably going to be the weapon of choice for the ‘Born Like This’ coverart. This was the first attempt after a while and some of the stenciling isn’t too clean, but it’s aight…This is just in black on white paper, I was thinking of working back in with white FW, but was way too scared to balls it up. Hopefully taking this stuff to much bigger canvases, for little mistakes look much bigger on a small scale.

Other stuff that I didn’t take out. Part of some collabo work with Adam, which is why it doesn’t make sense, it might end up here later.

I’m on this white ink ting. Looking at Phil Hale and Memling when I was doing this one. I’s of Charon the ferryman of the newly deceased across some river so they can be dead on the other side of the river and he takes their eye money but doesn’t see a penny because he’s like Hades’ gimp. I’m going to be working with more text because I think it’s what a lot of my stuff is lacking.

Dead stuff on a memento mori tip, done with plaster in a sugar skull mould, still contemplating doing some more inking over this one, it’s a bit bland at the mo’, but I don’t want it to get mexican or overly decorative. I’ve got another one on the go so I should have a set by the end.
