I’m currently working on a body on work inspired by autism. I recently made a piece of music as the autistic mind might envisage it. And why is it green you ask? I also work for the Guardian. Recently, we moved offices to Kings Place. There is a new “flexi-desk”; policy, therefore each employee has a locker, not a fixed desk. Everyone also has a locker box. On the folding up of the thousands of locker boxes, there were also thousands of card pieces left over, in 12 different Guardian pieces, where the carrying holes had been punched out. I saw it as a golden recycling opportunity and they became the musical notes for my piece.

Climate change is one of the many issues that is landing on our planet right now, so I thought, what would make people do something about it or just be aware of something about it? I thought, probably the one is most damaged is human themselves because who created the artificial bit is probably us humans because the world itself is nature on its own. So I thought a sign that says it all would be a good thing. In these photos I brought the sign around London to create a photograph of some sort of warning to the people of this metropolitan city.

The masks are malleable until the point of using the surgeon’s knife just to reach the stereotype imposed by society. Through the Advertising, we are bombarded by stereotypes that we have to follow, but through the Artvertising (painted Advertisements in the streets) we are bombarded with images that fight with the promotion of stereotypes.

‘4D Glass‘ forges a relationship between an on screen, computer generated model and the actual physical object.

When creating a 3 dimensional representation on a computer programme a ‘skeleton‘ of the object is formed, known as the wireframe.

In an attempt to fuse the virtual and physical world, this wireframe has been engraved onto the surface of the glass. This concept sees the computer being used to automate a linear pattern, specific to the object itself.
